Change rarely waits for the perfect moment. Sometimes it means stepping out onto a busy mall floor, stopping strangers mid-stride, and asking them to believe in something bigger than their afternoon plans. That is exactly what our volunteers did on 21st February.
Project Street School conducted an on-ground fundraiser at Mall 1, Lahore — collecting donations in support of the upcoming annual Ration Drive organized by Next Generation Pakistan. Armed with little more than conviction and a cause worth believing in, our volunteers engaged with locals throughout the day, raising awareness about the initiative and successfully collecting a significant amount in donations.
On-ground fundraising is one of the most human forms of community work. There is no algorithm, no boosted post — just a volunteer, a passerby, and a conversation that has the potential to change someone’s Ramadan. The generosity shown by the people of Lahore on this day is a reminder that the will to help is always closer than we think.
The funds raised will go directly towards the annual Ration Drive, where they will be translated into packages for underprivileged families — real meals, in real homes, during the most meaningful month of the year.
To every donor who stopped, listened, and gave — thank you. You made this possible.
