Ramadan is a time of reflection, generosity, and togetherness. It is also a time that makes the weight of poverty harder to carry — when the spirit calls for abundance, but the table is bare. This is precisely where we believe community action matters most.
On Sunday, 15 March 2026, Project Street School organized a Ramadan Ration Distribution Drive at Shameem Anwar Trust School. Around 25 ration packages were distributed to underprivileged families — each one a small but meaningful act of solidarity in the holiest month of the year.
Shameem Anwar Trust School has long been a place of care for its community. Hosting this drive there felt right — a space built on the belief that every child deserves dignity extended its walls to ensure that families, too, could feel seen and supported.
Initiatives like this are only possible because of the people who believe in them — our volunteers, donors, and partners who give their time and resources without asking what they get in return. To each of you: this is your work as much as ours.
As Ramadan continues, we remain grateful — for the opportunity to serve, for the families who trusted us, and for a community that never stops caring.
Ramadan Mubarak.
